Family and General Dentistry
At Arvanitis and Associates we are first and foremost a family dental office. Our team of Hygienists and Family Dentists provide all of the routine care your family requires, from routine cleanings and fillings to wisdom teeth and emergency dental care. We are open extended hours until 8pm and we follow the Ontario Dental Association suggested fee guide. This is the same fee guide used by all Dentists in Ontario.

Arvanitis and Associates moved to its current home in 2003 and our facility and concept continues to be well received by the public. The idea behind the “spa” was that Dr. Arvanitis wanted to change how the public views a dental visit from cold and clinical to warm and hospitable. With that in mind our facility has been designed to pamper. When you arrive expect to be warmly greeted by our concierge who will take your coat and serve you a beverage from our cappuccino bar. Enjoy a frothy cappuccino or espresso made with only the finest fresh ground ILLY coffee beans. We also offer herbal teas, specialty coffees, even hot chocolate — a favourite for both young and old. Then take a seat in our cafe style reception area and read a magazine, watch smile TV or relax and listen to some music.
Your dental treatment is performed in private, quiet, tastefully decorated treatment rooms. Enjoy a warm, soothing herbal neck pillow and spa hand treatment while you cuddle under a warm blanket and watch your favourite TV show on a chair-side LCD television. Best of all, all our little extras are complimentary and offered at absolutely no charge to you.

Our Team
At Arvanitis and Associates we take a team approach to your dental care. We have 3 Family Dentists to handle all of your routine dentistry from emergency care and fillings to root canal treatment and crowns. In addition to this Dr. Arvanitis’ practice is limited to reconstructive dentistry with implants and aesthetic smile makeovers. Dr. Farhadian is an expert at wisdom teeth removal and children’s dentistry. He has performed thousands of wisdom teeth surgeries. All of our Doctors are trained in Oral and/or IV Sedative techniques to ensure your utmost comfort.
Your cleanings are performed by our team of 6 Registered Dental Hygienists and we have a full complement of Administrative Staff and Certified Level 2 Assistants making sure everything runs smoothly. Meet our team!
Although we are a large dental office with economies of scale allowing us to have the utmost in technology and customer service we still have the ambience, personal touch and fees of a small, family dental office.

Meet Dr. George Arvanitis
A 1990 graduate from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. George Arvanitis maintains a full time dental practice in Waterloo, Ontario limited to reconstructive and implant dentistry. He has performed thousands of implant procedures, including the placement and restoration of over 5000 Dental implants. He has presented hundred of lectures and presentations in Canada, the United States and Europe on the topics of Dental Implants, Occlusion and Reconstructive Dentistry. He was rewarded by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry with the designation of Honoured Fellow of the Academy for his contributions to the Academy, continuing education and the profession of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Jaemin Lee
Dr. Lee was born in South Korea and moved to Canada when he was 15. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2014, and decided to come back home to Canada to practice dentistry.

Dr. Hardeep Kaur
Dr. Hardeep Kaur was born in Punjab, India. She graduated from Government Dental College and Hospital, Amritsar, India in 2003. She practiced dentistry in Jalandhar for 15 years before she started to work for Ex Army Servicemen for a year.

Dr. Kenneth Urquhart
Dr. Urquhart was born and raised in Alberta, spending much of his time in Calgary and neighboring areas. Since graduating from the University of Toronto Dental School in 2015, he spent much of his first decade working as a dentist in Hamilton.

“Dentistry By Design” is the concept of healthy teeth for life — by design, not by accident, luck or chance. It starts with our New Patient Comprehensive Examination where we begin by getting to know your goals and desires.
We take our time to look at your whole dental situation, tooth by tooth from your gums to your joints, everything you need and everything you want.
We then sit down with you and discuss your treatment options. Together we finalize your treatment plan and work with your insurance to maximize your benefits. For those without insurance we offer convenient monthly payment plans.
Then in as few appointments as possible we’ll restore your mouth back to health while you relax under a warm blanket listening to soft music or watching TV. You can even choose our safe, easy sedation option and rest comfortably right through your appointment. We’ll use the best materials available today so that you can get back to your busy life and not have to have any more dental work done for a long, long time.

Dr. Joseph Adragna grew up in Woodbridge, Ontario. After graduating from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, Behaviour, and Psychology, he attended New York University College of Dentistry. It was here that he got his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree.
Dr. Ava Naghavi graduated with Honours from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from York University. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Farhadian attended the University of Western Ontario in London where he obtained his Bachelors degree in 2003. He then attended the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry where he was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence in Clinical Prosthodontics in addition to his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He has been in private practice since then and his special interests include working with children, Oral Surgery and wisdom teeth extractions.
